From Kenya with Peace

face & church - N

Dear Ones,

We at HaMoreh Ministries wish you and yours a Merry Christmas.

Our prayer is that you will enjoy celebrating the peace of Christ this season.

We celebrate the birth of peace:

"Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to men." (Luke 2:14)

We celebrate the gift of peace:

"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you.  I do not give to you as the world gives.  Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid." (John 14:27)

We celebrate the certain victory of peace:

"I have said this to you, so that in me you may have peace.  In this world you face persecution.  But take courage; I have conquered the world!"  (John 16:33)

Merry Christmas!

Love,
Jamie

He informed me of his name, Onesmus, and told me that he had just arrived in order to graduate the next day at the large ceremony KBTC would be ...

It began in ‘baby Hebrew' class, singing the 133rd psalm and being captivated by Jamie's stories of joy and life of a different kind. It continued in Kenya with a summer long practicum with another people, experiencing rich community in ways that left us permanently changed. That joy and that life continues to haunt us, to challenge us, and to bless us, even today. Psalm 133 was sung in anticipation of communal worship to the King. It is about how good and how marvelous life is when we ...
