God birthed HaMoreh Ministries in 2006, right where we were at the time.  And what a journey this has been ever since!  Amidst a full-time teaching load at Houston Baptist University, the challenges of directing a fledgling Biblical Languages program there, a part-time teaching load at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, teaching our Bible Study family - Oikos, and being Mimi's husband, God birthed HaMoreh and continues to grow His work.

HaMoreh's vision is clear and our history, from the beginning, has been that God challenges us to teach, preach for, mentor, and resource young African Christian leaders.  Watching the fruit fall only increases our desire to invest more!

God continues to bless our efforts and continues to increase our ministry opportunities in Africa.  HaMoreh presently has 11 classes ongoing in universities and seminaries in the Nairobi, Kenya area.  HaMoreh is now mentoring its second generation of Bible teachers and pastors.  We are engaged in the production of a resource data base that will bring needed digital biblical studies materials to African teachers, pastors, and students.  Our efforts continue in resourcing African leaders, learners, and learning centers with desperately needed resources - books, computers, and software - the basic building blocks for transforming lives.

God continues to bless HaMoreh with student workers.  That has been our administrative support, and we are most grateful - particularly for Chad Legare who has walked with us through much.

Please pray for God to raise up an Administrator - one gifted and called to oversee the growing efforts of HaMoreh.  We are praying for God's provision and believe that this step of faith is the next big one along our journey.

The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are where ... Oh Lord?
