Our HBU BA in Biblical Languages recent alumnus and little sister, Ashley Hatchett, has just begun her graduate theological education at Truett Seminary, Baylor University.  Mimi and I rejoice with Ashley and her family over Ashley's journey.  I can well remember Ashley's first Hebrew class - which she entered without a clear sense of what might be next.  At that point, Ashley just knew that she wanted to give studying Hebrew a go.  Even more clearly do I remember Ashley later graduating in 2008 as our top HBU Biblical Languages student.

Ashley joins the MDiv program at Truett Seminary after receiving a full academic scholarship.  Mimi and I rejoice with the Hatchett family over God's provision and over Ashley's sense of purpose in accepting this offer.

We pray that Ashley's interests in the Hebrew and Greek languages will grow and that she will be blessed with mentors and teachers that will challenge her and lead her well.

May God continue to lead Ashley in the unique, and beautiful, journey that He has for her over the coming days.
