A Christian University

Prayer Request
December 1, 2007
A Christian University
As one called to comfort the uncomfortable and to discomfort the comfortable, I know no greater joy than engaging the cultures around us with the claims of Christ. The character and commitment of the faculty, administration, and student body of Daystar University, Nairobi well represent what a Christian university community can be in God's economy. Vibrant worship emanates from classrooms, offices, and conversations scattered throughout both campuses. Ministries of compassion thrive in the worst of the world's social, economic, and political settings. The largest (in student population) Christian university on the African continent holds great potential to continue its mission of advancing Christ's kingdom by sending out evangelical change agents into governments, businesses, and churches throughout Africa.

Please pray for the physical, spiritual, and financial needs of the faculty, administration, and student body of Daystar University.

We thank God for what He is doing in Daystar University. We most sincerely thank you and Mimi for being part of change in Daystar and for touching lives of both students, staff, faculty and administration in Daystar University. I pray God to bless you and may He shower you with His favor and grace. I Corinthians 15:58 \" Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain\". The Lord richly bless you as you labor in His vineyard. May the Lord take you to another level spiritually, physically, emotionally, materially and bless you with good health in 2008.
