Christ on Earth

Christ on Earth
Seems like a messy mess being a Christian these days, huh? Seems like impossible being a Christian in any church in our time and place, huh? The body of Christ on earth? Huh? For a Christ follower, living in our American spiritual and intellectual ghetto makes finding hope and help difficult, at best, huh? Walking the way as followers of the Way does not look like what most of us see here and now. Thinking like a Spirit engulfed, empowered, and energized disciple of the Truth most often reaches no higher than the public miseducation contained in and restrained by secular and religious institutions that will never work. Never have, if one uses Scripture as one's sure guide.

Mimi and I thank God for our local church family in praise for all that they add to our lives. We are less messy as a result of their love for God and for us.

We ask that you join Mimi and me in praying for God to mold us into the very image of Jesus Christ, our Lord ... here and now ... the body of Christ on earth.

Answer to Prayer

Mimi and I thank God for growing relationships with members of our home church.  Our former Bible Study mates from The Difference class continue to include us in their loving ways.  Recently, I accepted the responsibility of teaching a new Bible Study class, Beyond the Ink.  Mimi and I thank God for the sweet people that He has gathered to start this new effort.  Mimi and I have been warmly welcomed.  Our church recently held a Missions Expo at which HaMoreh Ministries was allowed to distribute our new brochures and to talk with folks about Africa.  Amen!

As always, Mimi and I thank God for Mimi’s special friend Becky.  Only God knows….

I pray that you and Mimi, and all of us, will continue to grow in grace and in the love of Christ. I continue to find new freedom in letting go of societal expectations and focusing on being the person God has called me to be. So many opportunities all around...
