Help on the Way?Prayer Request
March 19, 2008  My home base university is now searching for new faculty members that will be working all through most present academic departments. In the Christianity department alone, we are searching for 6 new hires: 1 Hebrew/Old Testament, 1 Greek/New Testament, 1 Biblical Studies, 1 Theology/Church History, and 2 Philosophy. More new hires will likely be funded in the near future. We are growing and changing. A new Hebrew professor, a new Greek professor, and a new Biblical Studies professor are my first requests.... May God bring new comrades our way in His time and in His ways such that we will all know it! Lord, might it be soon? May God guide all of my time spent in meetings seeking new faculty members in quantity and in quality! Answer to Prayer

Thank you for praying with us. God has been so berry, berry good to me! We hired Dr. Phillip Marshall in the spring of 2008 and Phillip had a great first year teaching Greek and Hebrew with us. What an answer to prayer! Please join me in thanking God for Phillip's ministry among us at HBU. Phillip has also helped by teaching Hebrew at SWBTS this past summer - so, we are all most grateful! We hired Dr. Will Rutherford this spring and now Will has moved to Houston, moved into his HBU office, and is raring to go. Will also will be teaching Greek and Hebrew with us at HBU. Please thank God for another miracle - I tell you, lightening can strike twice in the same place!
