Patience in PreparationsPrayer Request
April 8, 2008  Our dear ones, Josh and Bri Westbury are busily preparing for their move to an MA program in biblical languages at the University of Stellenbosch in Cape Town, South Africa. Bri is working away at her job "making hay while the sun shines." Josh is finishing his MDiv at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, ministering on staff at Wilcrest Baptist Church, and teaching Greek with me at SWBTS. Whew! Josh and Bri have recently moved in with Bri's parents - saving shekels. They are now in a season of raising resources for their January, 2009 move to Africa. Please pray for patience in this season of making preparations. Lord, encourage us as we watch you work. Father, guide our minds to all that you have for us, day by day. God, as you provide whatever you choose to bring, let us enjoy you all the more! Answer to Prayer

God continues to amaze us! Mimi and I recently returned to Houston from Africa where we were able to spend a week with Josh and Bri in Cape Town, South Africa. Josh is nearing the end of his first year in the MA in Biblical Languages program at the University of Stellenbosch and doing great work. Bri does great work in taking care of Josh - we can tell! Both Josh and Bri are ministering to those in need around them during this season of study and preparation. We are proud like parents - and even prouder of our Lord's faithfulness. Please continue to pray with us that God will provide all that Josh and Bri need to continue their ministries and studies in South Africa. |
