Domestic Yet Foreign MissionariesPrayer Request
October 22, 2010 This July Trevor and Heather Little both became recruits with Pioneer Bible Translators. Pioneer Bible Translators is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to "see transformed lives through God's Word in every language." Pioneer Bible translators are currently working towards reaching every language group by 2025. For the Littles, the desire to spread the good news of Jesus Christ to every tongue, nation, and tribe is one that is deeply rooted and ever increasing. Heather's journey toward Bible translation first began in college when she went on mission to Tanzania with Pioneer Bible Translators. When she returned, Heather became a biblical languages student of Jamie's at HBU and fell in love with translation work. Trevor, a photography and videography artist, has also been burdened with reaching those who cannot hear or read the gospel in their native language and is adapting his artistic gifts for this purpose. How beautiful it is to see God unite a couple toward a common calling with such unique and different talents! Over the coming months Trevor and Heather, along with their two children Asher and Audrey, will move from Lincoln, Illinois to Dallas, Texas in order to finish their education and begin working more directly with Pioneer Bible Translators. Please pray for Trevor and Heather Little as they raise financial and prayer support for their Bible translation mission and work diligently to complete their degree programs. Pray also that the Little family would be strengthened and further unified through their pursuit of this call and the major transition it will bring.
