Patrick Musembi was born into a family whose rural community considered witchcraft perfectly acceptable.  Called to be a Christian as a young man, Patrick began as a teacher committed to Christ, eventually becoming an ordained minister and founding a church that has grown to include 1500 members and also serves a children’s home. As the head of the Department of Bible and Religious Studies at Daystar University, Patrick has been a pioneer in developing new programs, such as the newly board-approved degree in Peace and Conflict Transformation, and another post-graduate degree focusing on serving the needs of urban youth and children.  He strives to give each student at Daystar the tools to be used by the Lord to fulfill his plans for them, all the while continuing to work with his childhood community to illuminate the path to God for them.
