Andrea, Ricky, and daughter, Elianah Mena are now working together on Mom's MA in Biblical Languages thesis.  Well, perhaps Elianah is helping by sleeping!

Mimi and I are so very proud of this young family.  We thank God for Elianah and look forward to being a part of her life.  It's too early to tell if she will prefer Greek or Hebrew, but we are praying.  We thank God for Ricky's work in Houston, and for his support of Andrea's studies.

No doubt, mom's thesis writing would be much easier in closer proximity to Andrea's supervisor, Christo van der Merwe, at the University of Stellenbosch.

Please pray for the Mena thesis writing team as they work together through this difficult phase of research.  Please pray with us for:

• time, health, and energy
• resources - particularly the stamina to compile primary data and for all available secondary sources to be found and gleaned
• clear communications all along the way
• encouragement for the author/mom!

We also pray for Andrea's supervisor, Christo, as he helps from afar.
