As the Academic Dean of Kenya Baptist Theological College, Simeon Anyango is intimately familiar with the difficulties that plague his students and often contribute to a failure to complete their degrees. The lack of financial support to pay tuition and a shortage of qualified teaching staff has led to a high dropout rate at KBTC, which in turn perpetuates the lack of educated pastors in urban Kenya. Simeon dreams of producing many more degreed pastors to send out into the cities of Kenya, and has already seen transformation in the lives of the students and staff at KBTC thanks to HaMoreh’s involvement.
