Dear Jamie and Mimi,

Warm greetings in the blessed name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

On behalf of the faculty, the staff, and the students of Daystar University, Nairobi: I urge you both to return to us as soon as you can to help us to do all that you can do! We thank you again for your loving ministry among us over the last three years.

Mimi, we look forward to you continuing your work in our libraries. Thank you for all the hours that you invested over the last three summers restoring books to a condition that would allow our students to use them again. Thank you for being such a sweet encouragement to our library staff in all that they asked of you. Most of all, we thank you for your ministry to our students—your example and friendship have blessed all of us. We pray for your quick return.

Jamie, we urge you to continue your teaching and preaching ministry in our community. We can’t thank you enough for your pastoral presence and for your challenging teaching ministry to our students. Thank you for your deep commitment to Christ and to the sharing of His love through the teaching of His Word. Our faculty, our staff, and our students pray that you will continue to minister to us, as we believe that our Lord will lead you back to us. We look forward to you continuing your teaching and preaching of the Bible in class, in chapel, in conversation, and in living among us.

Thank you for HaMoreh Ministries’ generous donation of student scholarships, computing equipment, and related instructional tools and resources for our faculty and staff. Our university community also thanks you for the joy of having your American students take classes with us here in Africa. We pray for your quick return.

All of us at Daystar University, Nairobi thank you and your supporters for the financial gifts making your ministries among us possible. As is our institution’s history, we are not able to fund any missionary assistance. So, we thank God for his provision in granting all of the blessings of your efforts. We pray that God will move through saints around you to fund your continuing mission at Daystar University, Nairobi.
